Response targets

Severity levels and target first-response times.

Severity is set from business impact, not from how the request arrives. Versionz confirms the severity in the first response and will tell you if it differs from the one you assigned.

SeverityDefinitionTarget first responseRaise it via
Critical (Severity 1)Unavailable, or every migration fails, with no workaround. A go-live, cut-over, or production data load is blocked.4 business hoursEmail, plus escalation contact
High (Severity 2)A migration fails or stops part-way for one environment, module, or data item, and no workaround is practical.8 business hoursEmail or request form
Normal (Severity 3)A minor defect, a question about loading order, mapping, or configuration, or a feature request. Normal operation continues.2 business daysRequest form

What a first-response target means

The times above are targets for the first substantive response during published support hours, measured from when the request reaches support@versionzcorp.com or the form. They are not resolution times: a fix depends on the cause, and on the Microsoft platform where the cause sits outside MigrateIQ.

Ask a question
How do I raise a support request?
Email support@versionzcorp.com or use the support request form on this page. Include your company, the environment type, the request number of the migration if there is one, and what you expected to happen.
What are the support hours?
Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 18:30 India Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30), excluding Indian public holidays. Requests raised outside these hours are picked up on the next business day.
What information should I include in a support request?
The request number of the migration (for example REQ00012), the source and target environments and companies, the module or data item that failed, the level it stopped at, the message shown against it, and screenshots where they help. It shortens the first response considerably.
My migration finished as Partially succeeded. Is that a defect?
Usually not. Partially succeeded means the migration ran to completion but some records or data items were rejected, most often because a required value was missing or a referenced record did not exist in the target. The per-item results show the counts and the destination system's own message for each one. Raise a request if the message is unclear or the rejection looks wrong.
A level shows Not run. What happened?
When stop on error is enabled, a failure in one level prevents later levels from loading, so that data is never created on top of data that is missing. The levels that never started are shown as Not run. Fix the cause in the failed level and start a new migration.
Does Versionz need access to my Dynamics 365 environment to help?
Usually no. Most requests are resolved from the migration history and results already available to us. If access is genuinely needed, we ask for it in writing, scoped to the specific environment and time window, and you grant it from your own tenant.
Can support recover data after a migration into the wrong environment?
No. A migration creates and updates records in the target environment and cannot be reversed by support. Confirm the target environment and company before starting, take your own backups, and treat production targets with particular care. Contact us as early as possible and we will help you assess what was written.
How do I report a security vulnerability?
Email support@versionzcorp.com with the details, the affected environment, and steps to reproduce, and mark the subject SECURITY. Please do not raise security issues through the public support form or any public channel. Versionz acknowledges a security report within 1 business day and confirms the assessment within 5 business days.
